Our Mission "Seek and Save the Lost" (Luke 19:10) by building relationships, reaching and teaching, showing Christ's love, and applying the Gifts of the Spirit in our community.
What we Believe
Acts 2:38 states “Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.”
1) Repent!! In other words, feel true sorrow for your sins and your actions and ask God for forgiveness. It also includes turning away from those sins and starting a new life of following Christ.
2) Be baptized in the name of Jesus!! You must be baptized by being fully submerged underwater in order to be cleansed of all of your sins and receive forgiveness for your sins. Acts 2:38 specifically states “in the name of Jesus Christ” as a singular name and that name is Jesus. God’s name is Jesus and that is another reason why the Trinitarian “in the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost” is not biblically correct. There is only one baptismal method used in the entire new testament which clearly calls out the name of Jesus during Baptism..
3) Receive the gift of the Holy Ghost!! This is evidenced by the speaking of other tongues. (Acts 2:4 “And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.”)
Building His Kingdom
"And He gave some apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers; for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ: Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ." Ephesians 4:11-12
This is what Jesus gave us to fulfill the task ahead of us!
